I wouldn’t have got to the river if I were Ladouceur. I don’t think I’d put
in that 4 bet, I’d just call. Even with the K high flush draw, I don’t
think I would have called an all in on the flop. I think Koroknai would
shove the flop in that situation. Then again I’m a poor player so what the
    fuck do I know?

it would have been worse with turn 9clubs and river Jclubs

not a bad beat because there was no clear favorite to start the hands and
after the flop, the winner was the one with the actual best chance of
    winning.

To anyone who says this is not a bad beat…. you are all “youtube poker
pros” the numbers are there the chances of losing is only 1%, 98% of split
pot… look or watch other bad beat videos and see the % of suckout
    player….

  • JAO CAREKA 3 years ago

1% 1% is 98% the chance of sharing the pot ?

the amount of hands iv lost with AK its good but not that good id rather
see the flop before going all in

How is it a bad beat let alone the worst bad beat when they went all in pre
flop like idiots? at best your chopping with AK with those kinds of stacks
on that blind level. Retitle this to Idiot got lucky cause thats about all
    it was. No bad beat,

To clarify my definition of a bad beat is where you get out played then
suck out on. Or if you out play somebody and they suck out on you. This to
me does not qualify as a bad beat as just going all in pre flop requires
little to no skill involved and its all up for dumb luck.

even if both players hasn’t gone all in pre flop they most diffidently
would have gone all in flop or even turn no way either player getting away
    from their hands.

Shit like this happens to me all the time. this wouldn’t even be in my top
50 beats I’ve taken (besides the amount at stake obviously)

Antonio folded the 6s because he was scared Daniel had the 7s (winning
    super card)

    Super donk wins!

  • John McDevitt 3 years ago

Bottom line….if you think your A-K is good, you get your $$ in with it.
Now I’m not saying you should never fold it preflop, but against highly
aggressive players, I’d be happy to put my $$ in with A-K.

The dealer actually shuffled the clubs together.. And your calculation is
wrong since you dont need the first 4 cards to be clubs, but you need 4
clubs out of the 5 cards. So its actually higher than 0.8%. Also, you
shouldnt discard the burned cards from the calculation since you dont know
which cards are burned. It might be a club.

Koroknai took that win with class. A lot of players would have gone jumping
around the table and high fiving fans like they just won the lottery.
